Organ Pledge
The Lions Club of Segamat organized an Organ Pledge Registration on the 19th. Sept. 2010,in front of Upwell Shopping Centre from 2pm - 5pm. A canopy was set up with Organ Pledge banners manned by 10 Leos from the Leos Club of Cannosian Convent. With registration form in hand, they went inside the shopping centre, seeking out propective donors.A total of 8 organ donors were registered. An Organ Pledge Card were issued, laminated and presented to those that had registered.
We intend to continue this activities, changing venue and rotating the Leos from our 4 sponsored Leo Clubs. Leo Club of Cannonsian Convent, Leo Club of SMK Seg Hwa, Leo Club of Paduka Tuan and Leo Club of Segamat High School. This project is under the supervision of DC for Youth Program, Region 7, Lion Tee Piaw Tian.
